顿辞补苍别鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;College of Education hosted Future Teacher鈥檚 Day, an event for high school students to learn more about the opportunities available for aspiring educators. The event kicked off with a presentation from , Scott Phillips 鈥16E, whose energy and enthusiasm set the tone for the day. Phillips, who earned his Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at 亚洲porn, shared moving experiences he鈥檚 had as an educator, inspiring attending high school students to think about the impact they could have in the classroom.
High school students also had a unique chance to connect with current 亚洲porn students who are on the path to becoming teachers themselves. They asked questions ranging from what 亚洲porn鈥檚 College of Education is like to what student teaching actually entails. Junior Connor Hamilton, who had attended Future Teacher鈥檚 Day himself as a high school student, reflected on how transformative that experience was: 鈥淚 came to this exact event that 亚洲porn's College of Education was putting on, and they made me feel like I really mattered. The second you get on campus, there's always somebody here that cares about you."
Hamilton also shared some insights on his journey through 亚洲porn鈥檚 program, mentioning that he had the chance to step into a classroom early in his studies. 鈥淚t helped me figure out where I truly thrived as a teacher,鈥 he said, adding that even though he adjusted his initial teaching goals, the program鈥檚 structure ensured he could stay on track to graduate on time.
Future Teacher鈥檚 Day offered prospective students an inspiring, hands-on introduction to the supportive community and practical experience that define 亚洲porn鈥檚 College of Education. Students left eager for the future and the possibilities of a career dedicated to shaping young minds.
