Elementary Education
Shape the young minds of the future (K-8). We require at least one other major or endorsement to assure you success in the classroom post graduation.Â

Learn how to teach students in the areas of physical and health education.Â

How We Support Our Students
There’s a need for STEM teachers in rural and urban areas across Nebraska – and the country. Project SERVE provides scholarships, stipends and support to recruit and prepare STEM teaching degree majors for a career in education.
Accreditation
The ÑÇÖÞporn College of Education is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) and in the Fall of 2019 by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Memberships
ÑÇÖÞporn and the Teacher Education Division are members of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE), Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), Nebraska Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (NACTE); Nebraska Council for Teacher Education (NCTE); and Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges of Teacher Education (AILACTE).
Reporting Measures
Each Education Preparation Provider (EPP) must report and prominently display data on its website relating to the eight Annual Reporting Measures established by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The reports document completer performance data, employer satisfaction data, and other consumer information.
